One attendance system: from the morning clock-in to the payroll file

Attendance software that works with you all month, not just on closing day: in the morning you see who came in and who is absent, during the month you approve reports, and at the end you get a payroll-ready file. All the data is backed up in the cloud and always available. The system is approved for Innovation Authority reporting, and it was the first approved for reporting from mobile.

Clock, phone or computer

Employees clock in on a physical clock (fingerprint, employee card or token), in the Android and iOS app, or from the computer. Clock-ins from the phone also record the location.

Time clock

Attendance, absences and tasks

Clock-ins and clock-outs, absences, and hours for every client, project and task. All in one system, with no spreadsheet on the side.

Hours reporting system

A payroll-ready file

At month end, you produce a file ready to load into leading Israeli payroll systems, including shifts and pay supplements. Nobody retypes hours.

Payroll integration

Control for managers

Managers approve reports, get daily reports and alerts, and analyze the data as needed. Employees who forgot to report get a reminder, so nobody has to chase them.

Approved by the Innovation Authority

Approved for hours reporting to the Israel Innovation Authority, and the first system approved for reporting from mobile. A fit for companies that report hours on a grant.

Approved for Innovation Authority reporting

An attendance system for companies that report hours on a grant

ProperTime is approved for hours reporting to the Israel Innovation Authority, and it was the first attendance system approved for reporting from mobile. For hours to count toward the grant, they must be reported in an approved attendance system. Employees report hours for each project and task, and managers approve the reports during the month. Mistakes get fixed in time, before the report is signed, which helps prevent rejected hours and protects the grant money.

Attendance system FAQ

What does an employee attendance system do?

Attendance software records when each employee came in and left, keeps track of absences, and produces clear reports for payroll. In ProperTime, you also manage tasks and projects in the same system, with managers approving the reports.

What should we check when comparing attendance systems?

Every attendance system records clock-ins and clock-outs. The difference shows on an ordinary day: Can employees report from their phone, their computer and a physical clock? Are absences and tasks recorded in the same system as attendance? Do managers approve reports throughout the month, with a payroll-ready file at the end? And if you have an Innovation Authority grant, is the system approved for reporting? The most important check of all: try the system with your own team before you decide.

What is the difference between a time clock and an attendance system?

A time clock is where an employee clocks in and out. An attendance system brings together every report, from the clock, the app and the browser, and adds absences, tasks, manager approvals and a payroll file. More on clocking in itself: time clock.

How do employees report attendance?

Whichever way suits them: from the mobile app, from the browser on their computer, or on a physical clock (fingerprint, employee card or token). They can report from the office, from home and even from abroad, and reports from the phone also record the location. Every report goes into the same system and is backed up in the cloud, so the manager sees the whole team in one place.

How do we manage absences in the attendance system?

Employees report an absence from the app or the computer, in the same system they clock in with. You define the absence types your organization needs, such as sick days, vacation and reserve duty (miluim), and the manager approves the reports during the month. At month end, absences go into the payroll file together with the hours.

Does the system connect to our payroll system?

Yes. ProperTime produces a payroll file ready to load into leading Israeli payroll systems, including shifts and pay supplements. Details: payroll integration.

Is the system approved for Innovation Authority reporting?

Yes. ProperTime is approved for hours reporting to the Israel Innovation Authority (formerly the Office of the Chief Scientist), and it was the first system approved for reporting from mobile. Details: Innovation Authority hours reporting.
